What is MCS? MCS may start with a severe or long - term exposure to
toxic chemicals which then causes a long term acute sensitivity to airborne
gases often found in indoor air.
Relieving MCS - people from airborne irritants Perfumes, pesticides,
cleaning products, fuels, carpets building materials become intolerable to
a person who has developed MCS.
Symptoms of MCS - Symptoms may include difficulty in breathing, migraines,
irritated eyes, loss of concentration, fatigue, aching muscles and joints etc.
An AllerAir MCS air cleaner will help - The use of an AllerAir MCS
air cleaner will help to relieve these symptoms by trapping and significantly
reducing the airborne chemicals in the indoor air.
AllerAir MCS units are specially constructed - An important feature
of AllerAir MCS units is that they are designed and built to ensure that the
air cleaners themselves minimize even the smallest traces of chemical vapors,
while they do their work.
The importance of activated carbon filtration - The airborne chemicals,
gases and odors that cause the symptoms of MCS are trapped by the Mass Activated
Carbon Bed (MAC-B) filter. Most off-the-shelf air cleaners on the market only
have a few ounces of carbon sprayed on a mesh. AllerAir MAC-B filters contain
from 18 to 21 pounds of activated carbon that remove large amounts of chemical
gases for up to 24 months before replacement.
A choice of models - The 5000 D MCS is a full sized unit with
a 21 lbs MAC-B filter with a micro-particulate filter. The 5000 MCS has
a 18 lbs MAC-B filter with a true HEPA filter for finer particle abatement.
Effective up to 1500 square feet Each of the AllerAir MCS units has
the capacity to clean the air in a large room. Three speed motor can be set
for rapid room cleaning or quiet overnight use in the bedroom. For whole house
cleaning multiple units or a central air system are recommended.
